Buscabamos un apartamento porque viajamos con dos ninos pequenos y encontre la oferta de Apartamentos Allada en Booking. Las fotos me dieron buena impresion, pero la sorpresa fue cuando llegamos, el edificio esta completamente reformado de estilo moderno y el apartamento esta muy bien equipado pero se encuentra en una barriada que deja mucho que desear con bares de copas justo abajo y gente de todo tipo. Ademas tuvimos visita de al menos (me conto mi marido luego ya cuando estabamos en casa) 20 crias de cucarachas. (menos información)

My mum and her 3 friends went to Barcelona to celebrate a 65th birthday, it was a treat for their friend. They were there for two hours, left the apartment and literally got ten steps away when they were mugged by 6 men. This was in broad daylight, outside shops and the shop keepers literally laughed at them. They are all over 60 and could not believe what had happened. They went back into the apartment and were told by the receptionist that they would have to go to the police station as they do not come out to you. My mum and one of her friends had there bags literally ragged off them so they went to the police station, they were there for four hours, not offered a drink or anything and were laughed at which obviously made them very upset. They were then told nothing could be done regarding their passports and there was no Embassy open until Monday. My two sisters and I had to get a flight out on Saturday morning to take them there medication that had also been stolen and they were told 'no doctors' are here for you. The apartment, although very small was nice and clean but the noise was very bad. On Sunday morning at about 9.30, a man came along with his bolt cutters and started stealing the bikes that were chained up outside. I passerby asked him what he was doing and he threatened her so she just carried on about her business. I would say if you have no choice but to go to Barcelona then the apartment is nice but in a very rough area. We got 'flashed' by a man in the middle of the street at 9 pm in the evening when there was loads of people around. We also spoke to other people who had been robbed either from their car - being told to pull over as they had a flat wheel and then getting robbed whilst they got out to have a look - or getting their bag ripped from them like my mum and her friend. I am disgusted at the way the authorities did not offer them any assistance whatsoever and have vowed never to return to that godforsaken place EVER AGAIN. If you do go please be careful, this has totally ruined my mother and her friend. They have gone from being out-going fun loving people to ladies who were scared to go out of the door. I cannot express how bad it really was. (menos información)

For my part I had a wonderfull stay in Alladas' apartment a few months ago with my wife. The place was really clean and confortable and the staff provided us everything we needed. What's more we were in the very citycenter of Barcelona,on a very nice typical little place, a very goog location to discover the old town !! (menos información)

We were a group of 9 guys in barcelona to celabrate my friend mariage. Thoose 3 days in this hotel were awsome! 1st : it was very easy to book whereas all other accomodations were full. 2nd prices were very attractive compared to other hotels: ? 40 pnpp only! for a 4 stars accomodation: unbelievable! The hotel is very well settle in the town: no need to walk all night to go back to sleep. Rooms were big enought for 4 guys and confortable to spend 2 adorable nights: clean, quite and fully equipped. Finaly, i'd like to notice the high level of service. Indeed, we forgot our key in the flat the saturday night at 1 AM. Just a phone call and the problem was solved in 15 minutes only! To conclude: don't worry, book Apartamentos Allada to be happy! I was very impressed with these apartments, and have to say the location is just fantastic. Right in the heart of a beautiful area with cobble streets, lovely restaurants, bars and gorgeous shops. You can walk every where from here, it takes about 15 mins to the Ramblas but to be honest, we stayed away from there and just soaked up the atmosphere of the lovely area we were staying in. Great little restaurant close by is Little Italy with live jazz music every night. The only fault with the apartments was the noise from other guests, the walls are paper thin, and the housekeeper woke us up each morning cleaning the corridors and adjacent rooms. Also, our shower leaked all over the floor, the seal needed to be replaced, just a small thing really. But overall, great location, clean apartment, air conditioned, and super to have a little fridge to keep drinks cold. I would definitely go back. (menos información)
