The B&B Sonnino Suite is located in the most characteristic area of Rome, Trastevere, in which Ancient, Renaissance and Modern history merge together in a unique way . From Roman insulae to Byzantine villas, from Romanesque churches to Baroque ones, the thousands of years of history of Rome is visible in every corner, every street, every square of this lovely neighbourhood.The heart of the city is a short walking distance away, but also easily accessible using public transportation located close by. Our apartment is positioned on the 4th floor of a IXI Century building, right in front of the beautiful Romanesque Church of San Crisogono. We have five spacious rooms to welcome our guests, all fully equipped (AC, TV, 24 hr internet access,frigobar,strongbox) with private bathrooms.The reception is opened from 08:00 to 10:00 and from 14:30 to 19:30. The antique furnishings of our apartment stand out to create a feeling of remote times to make your stay pleasant and relaxing.The B&B Sonnino Suite is located next to some of the most important monuments and squares in Rome, Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere and the homonymous church, with its Roman mosaics and marbles, are just a few minutes away. Walking past it and up the Gianicolo hill, you will be rewarded with the breathtaking view of the city of Rome spreading out before you. Taking the opposite direction from Sonnino Suite, if you cross the Garibaldi Bridge (Ponte Garibaldi) you will find yourself just a short walk away from the Pantheon, where you can still see the perfectly preserved ancient marble decorations and the grand and striking bronze door. Very close to the Pantheon is Piazza Navona and the S. Andrea Della Valle Church, right on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where you can find one of the works of Michelangelo Merisi, better known as Caravaggio...Welcome to the eternal city!
