We stayed here for almost 3 months...All the staff is friendly and very helpful. The guest service is excellent. Room was clean and spacious. Good location and staff speak very good English too. We will definitely come back...highly recommended!

In the Somerset Azabu East, all the staff is very nice and helpful, the cleaning service is excellent and the location nearby the Tokyo Tower is one of the best in the town. You can sleep very well because the place is silent and the landscape facing the Tower is unique and beautiful. The place is also a good area where having a relaxing walk because it is near to interesting places to visit and see. The underground station (Oedo Line) is also very close.

I stayed here for about a week at friend's place. Before I arrived, I expected the space to be very small, given the reputation of Tokyo apartments. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space there was, if the bedroom was closed off it would be a legit 1-bedroom apartment (but the way it is set up with a curtain makes it a studio or a junior 1-bedroom, NYC style). There is a (quite small) kitchen, but they manage to squeeze in a small fridge and dishwasher. What makes this less than a real apartment is the small kitchen and mini-fridge, as the bathroom is quite spacious with a nice-sized tub and countertop. Otherwise, there is also a sizable closet, and the building itself has a gym and continental breakfast. Right outside the door is one of the ubiquitous drink machines. The neighborhood is upscale, and quiet. Close to Tokyo Tower and a large park, and 5-10 minutes walk to Akanebashi or 10-15 to Kamiyacho Tokyo Metro stations. Adjacent to a grocery store, and there are some cute restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. A nice place to hang your hat for a while.

I am writing this halfway thorugh my business stay at The Somerset Azabu East. The hotel/apartment is located between 2 train station, the nearest being Akabanebashi (E21) Oedo line, a 5 minutes walk when you exit and turn left of the hotel and the other being at being H05 Kamiyacho, a 10 minutes walk when you exit and turn right of the apartment. The apartment is 14 storey and has a roof top BBQ area. Depending on the room you stay, you may have a partial view of the Tokyo tower which is just right behind. The area is a business area and is relatively peaceful during the evening and weekends. Something one may treasure if you require peaceful resting time.There is a supermarket just next to the apartment, a barber just opposite and some small eateries within 5-7 minutes walk depending on where you go. I stay in a one bed room studio with my wife and daughter. The default bed provided is queen size and accommodate 2 asian size adults. You will require an additional bed which is chargeable if you have a child with you. The additional bed though is rather uncomfortable and will have to be placed in the living area instead, which can hinder you as you go with your daily life. The internet connection is stable and exclusive to your room. A small kitchen area allows some form of basic cooking and utensils are provided, you may have to get your own knife and scissor. A small fridge is also provided and a microwave is placed on top of it. The fridge thankfully is a quiet one when the compressor kicks in, so you do not have to worry. The bathroom is attached to the laundry room but you will have to dry your clothes with the built in dryer unless you can find a way to dry your clothes. One may want to beware that dryer may shrink your clothes. You will also have to get your own supply of washing detergent if you are staying beyond a week. The housekeeping comes once a week and does a relatively good job to replace the towels and clean the room. Toilet paper is also restocked. The breakfast area is at level 1. The selection is available daily but very limited to basic bread, spread and juice. The staffing team is helpful and will assist you to their best to solve your issues, they speak and understand English. Overall i find the stay still acceptable.
