We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by the hotel staff and the head waiter Ahmet suat and waitress Havvana Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made our stay truly exceptional. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. The head waiter Ahmet and Havvana deserves special recognition for their exemplary leadership, impeccable service, and genuine hospitality. Their dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience was evident in every interaction, and their friendly, attentive manner set the highest standard for the entire team. The combined efforts of the hotel staff and the head waiter created a memorable experience that exceeded our expectations. They are a true credit to the hotel, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others based on the exceptional level of service we received.

“Best holiday”

Hotel was fantastic one of the best I've been to. Staff are amazing all very friendly. Animation team brilliant. Kept us entertained all holiday. Nada brilliant on aqua gym and zumba thanks a lot to her and chattyboy great on the darts.

Lovely hotel, but not quite the 5⭐ experience we expected I stayed at Arcanus Trendline Hotel Side with my partner and two children (aged 2 and 5). Overall, we had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean and well maintained, but unfortunately there were some areas that let it down and, in our opinion, it felt more like a 4⭐ hotel rather than the advertised 5⭐. On arrival, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They kindly took our bags to our room, and throughout our stay the staff were always friendly and polite. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable, with the mini fridge being restocked daily, which was a lovely touch. The hotel grounds are very well kept, and the pool area is fantastic. The pools were clean, spacious and there was plenty for children to enjoy. The Turkish bath and massage facilities were also excellent, with good prices and a really enjoyable experience. A special mention has to go to the ladies working in the hotel shop. Although the shop itself is quite expensive, they were absolutely wonderful — so kind, friendly and helpful, and they really made every visit pleasant. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment for us was the food and entertainment. The hotel seemed to cater much more towards German guests, with very little consideration for English guests, particularly when it came to meal choices and evening entertainment. The food was not what we would expect from a 5⭐ hotel and felt closer to what we would expect from a 3⭐ standard. The children’s corner was especially disappointing, with only options such as boiled rice and hotdogs, neither of which we felt comfortable giving to our children. Breakfast was also a let-down, with some items appearing to be repeated from the previous evening and very little choice that suited English tastes. The pool bar was a much better option and the food there was enjoyable, although the choices did become repetitive after a few days. The entertainment was another area that could be improved. The children’s disco did not start until 8:30pm, which was difficult with young children, especially as dinner starts at 6:30pm. This left a long period in the evening with very little to do. Again, most of the children’s songs and entertainment were in German, which was disappointing when there were English-speaking families staying too. We did take a trip into Side, which is a lovely place with plenty of shops and restaurants. It felt very safe and was definitely worth visiting, although the €50 return taxi fare felt very expensive considering it is only around 10 minutes away. Sadly, the food situation became such an issue for our children that we actually chose to fly home three days earlier than planned, as they were barely eating and the holiday was becoming stressful rather than relaxing. The hotel has so many positives — amazing staff, beautiful surroundings, a fantastic pool and a very clean environment — but for us, the lack of suitable food choices and family-friendly English entertainment meant we would not return.

Was lovely to have a chat with them too, they would always say hi to me when I left the hotel. Also Mehmet helped us to our room and was very helpful with bags and info on the hotel. The room was lovely and spacious the only issue we faced was the balcony was very small.. there was so much free space all around but we was barricaded off. Such a shame as two loungers would have been a great touch considering the sun was always shining on the balcony and the amount of space being wasted.. The food was the same every single day. Some stuff changed but the majority stayed the same. For Turkiye I would have hoped for more Turkish food or varieties. There were some really tasty dishes that I wish I saw more of, these were Turkish. The bulger wheat rice was amazing and the rice pudding 10/10. Even though the Turkish food was great, some was very catered to the German guests I thought and was quite bland. I have a mixed review about the food but the presentation was lovely and there were no flies or anything like that! I have been to other resorts where the flies have driven me mad in the food hall but it was very clean and no flies to be seen. Normally in other hotels we have been to there's themed nights or you're welcomed into the restaurant but this only happened on 1 night. I was welcomed with a huge melon cocktail in an actual melon! This was so fun and I loved this. Wish there was more of this. We stayed for 10 nights and there was no interaction or welcoming atmosphere it was very " canteen/ buffet" vibes from then on - there needs to be more stations with fun foods/ cocktails. There was nothing differentiating the food and room from a normal canteen in my opinion. The food was edible and nice it just got boring after a few days. The soups were 10/10 though. They would switch these up daily. I saw cross contamination of sauces one evening. The ladle for the tomato sauce had been dipped in the meat sauce and when mentioned to the cooks they put it back and didn't change it. So please be careful if you are veggie or have allergies. A Kumpir stand would be amazing in this resort, people would love this and no other resort has this. Just an idea. As this would cater to every nationality as it's just a jacket potato with fillings etc .. It's sad to say but my partner got food poisoning from the "chill bar" - she was being sick and everything else 💩.. She ate the battered chicken. We did think it looked a bit strange when it came out as it took 1 second to make.. we think it may have been left out. This has never happened before so was really gutted. Not a nice experience as it was three days before we had to go home 😭 Kids were pooing in the pool on various occasions. I felt terrible for the staff however I would have told the parents off but nothing was done about it after the poo was removed. I would have told the parents off directly and let people know. I personally never got in the main pool after this. Thank god for the adults only pool and Kenan who made our stay around the pool extra fun! So many people were extremely rude to staff. If you are a parent who allows their child to poo in a pool more than once you need help. It's not fair because the staff work very hard and that's pure disrespect. On various occasions we were bombarded with fliers to get massages, tattoos and beauty treatments after saying no, this started to annoy us as it was constant. I just wanted to tan in peace. They do leave you alone after a while but it's so awkward walking past the person trying to sell you something after them trying to sell it to you every time you see them lol The good things - The adult only pool and staff were great. I would like to mention the following people who made our stay extra special, Kenan who was the lifeguard around the adult only pool was very friendly and welcomed us every time we went to chill around the pool, offering drinks and blowing up our inflatable melon. 🍉 He would always speak to everyone and make the experience better. Deffo go say hi to him! Songul was the lovely lady who cleaned our room, she was friendly and really nice to talk to, she reminded me of my Turkish family back home. She was attentive and she made us a really cool towel decoration which was really impressive. Davut, Salih, Omer , Gunay and Yigit were great and always welcoming in the restaurant, smiling at us and offering assistance. Thankyou for being nice and friendly. A short walk away is a garden/ beach area which is stunning. You can see the sunset and there's loads of cats and birds and wildlife to visit. There's a little animal area where you can take photos and visit the animals - all free but it's nice to leave a tip. I have been to other areas where the animals look like they are not looked after but this place is clearly great with animals. They have little area where they feed the cats and kittens. So. Many. Kittens. Was so cute. The beach is lovely but very crowded. You get an allocated area for Arcanus. You can take the bus there or walk. Takes about 10 mins in the bus and 20 mins by foot. The Italian restaurant was amazing. Wow. The amount of food that's given to you.. we couldn't finish it all. Very attentive and welcoming again and couldn't do enough for you. The sun is always shining. We went in June to July and there was always loungers and so much sun. We had to actually shadow hunt a few times lol. Be mindful when booking for beginning of July onwards as it started to pack out. There's iced coffees and a good variety of cocktails. You get served around the pool by Salih on roller skates which is really cool. You don't have to move a finger. And in the evening when watching the entertainment you are offered drinks or you can go up to the bar yourself. I was going to give the resort a four star but I had to give a three due to the issue with food and the pool incident as I never got in the main pool after that. With that said the staff are lovely and we still enjoyed ourself.
