We have been waiting over a year for this Hilton brand to open in the heart of Frankenmuth. From the GREAT customer service from Harold & Tanya (she remembered our names the whole stay..impressive). We parked the car and didn't need to use it at all! Walked to Bronnors, Zehnders & all the shops! Room was very clean and what a great Breakfast they offered! We will be back several times a year! Thank you again Tanya & Harold!! This Hotel got lucky with you two!! See you soon

“Comfortable Stay”

We stayed for a family trip and had two rooms. The check in was smooth and the staff members were friendly. We requested one of the rooms be close to the elevator and they followed through on this request. They were sold out our first night but we still did not have any issues with finding parking.… Más

We stayed for a family trip and had two rooms. The check in was smooth and the staff members were friendly. We requested one of the rooms be close to the elevator and they followed through on this request. They were sold out our first night but we still did not have any issues with finding parking. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast. Pool area was clean and they actually had wonderful towels in the pool area. The location of this hotel is superior, right by Bronner’s and so close to town. The only issues we had was the sound proofing is not great in regard to hearing all the noises but that seems to be standard anymore with new builds. The other issue was that we were supposed to have housekeeping service and when we returned at night no one had come. Overall, we would stay here again when we return. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay.

“I need a stronger reason to stay here”

My family decided to do a staycation at this hotel over Christmas and explore Frankenmuth. First of all, and this is not the hotel's fault, don't bother. Everything in town is closed Xmas eve and Xmas day. Second of all, the hotel didn't really have any signature reason to stay there. It's not really within walking distance to anything, the breakfast was mediocre at best, and the pool, while nice, was just a concrete hole and a few chairs/tables around it. The lobby was a sweltering 80 degrees so you really only wanted to stay there for a couple minutes or so. Not a place where you'd want to sit and relax with guests. The pool area as well. If you're not going in the actual pool it's way too hot to hang out around the pool deck. As far as breakfast goes, there wasn't a single piece of fruit aside from some apples at the check-in desk. I know it's winter in Michigan so I'm not expecting a tropical Central American spread but at least some bananas and berries would suffice. Maybe cut up some pineapples and melons too. The 2 meat options tasted nasty. Yogurt was good though. Upon check in, there wasn't a luggage cart available. I was told there was only 2. That's ridiculous for a hotel that size. And the little store inside to buy snacks and drinks was more of an airport kiosk. Now for the positives: The rooms are spacious and had everything you need, everything was super clean. If all you care about is your room, then this is a good choice. It had a nice kitchenette with a full-size fridge and most cooking utensils you'd need. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They brought in a roll-away bed for us and gave us some options on where to go and what places in the area might be open. and everything smelled brand new. Easy parking, the walls were insulated. I had a great night's sleep. I would recommend this place for a business traveler but not for friends and family. And that may be the entire point -- providing a straightforward alternative to Drury Hotel and Bavarian Inn. I just wish I had known in advance.

Hotel is fresh and new, however, staff need more training at check in. Front desk has zero clue about how the digital check in and digital key request works in the app. The point of using the app and digital key is so you can “skip” the front desk and go straight to your room. When I asked about the bottled water for Diamond Members, I was told the drinking fountain was over by the fitness center. This was corrected when another staff member walked by. The room was extremely noisy with hallway noise and every door opening and closing. Every conversation in the hallway could be clearly heard as if the people were in the room with you. The room was spacious, however, for some reason a constant blinking bright light in the smoke detector was placed in direct view of the bed which kept waking us up at night because it would blink and light up the dark room. I understand safety and the need for the smoke detector but placement in the room could have been better. Breakfast times are different on the app as what is posted on the wall outside the breakfast area. Both weekday and weekend breakfast times were a half hour different. Breakfast was standard for a Home2Suites, but Hilton must be trying to get fancy and instead of using traditional containers for breakfast items (silver dishes), the items (sausage, egg, chicken, croissant) were all placed in the same box like container with a slider door making it 10x longer to get the food you wanted and the tongs were too big to reach inside. The hotel has great potential and hopefully will continue to improve as the kinks are worked out.
