“Location is amazing!”

First of all this isn’t a hostel anymore it’s a hotel. Fine by me, we’d booked a private room anyway! We booked via gala hotels and although I’d emailed to confirm booking with the hotel months ago, the hotel has since changed owners and they couldn’t find my booking. Luckily I had these emails and my confirmation which proved I’d already paid and the lovely lady on reception got it sorted for me. She was very helpful and reassuring when the panic started kicking in! Even managed to shuffle rooms about and got us checked in early! Brilliant customer service! If you’re staying in Dublin and want to be in the heart of the action you won’t get a better location than this. Everything is within a short walk. Room and hotel was spotless, could tell they’ve got all new carpets, bathroom etc. We even got lucky and got a little balcony over looking temple bar! Would 100% stay here again and recommend.

“Fantastic stay”

What a lovely surprise this was a lot berrer than some hotels we have stayed in wonderful staff.the room was luxurious comfy beds and super bathroom with toiletries room had Nespresso coffee machine tea coffee water biscuits it's in Temple bar so you expect noise if you want quiet bring earplugs ... What a lovely surprise this was a lot berrer than some hotels we have stayed in wonderful staff.the room was luxurious comfy beds and super bathroom with toiletries room had Nespresso coffee machine tea coffee water biscuits it's in Temple bar so you expect noise if you want quiet bring earplugs for us it was a wonderful stay cannot recommend enough and wil stay again in a heartbeat thank you Barnacles

“Birthday weekend ”

In the accommodation we had a the whole dorm to our self for a birthday weekend. The location was on the main party road so if you want a good night sleep do not book here. Breakfast was included and we had a separate toilet and shower. All the bars shops food is within seconds walk

“Location second to none ,the hostel itself disappointing”

You can’t get a better location right in the heart of the temple bar district. You can’t get a better location right in the heart of the temple bar district. Our accomodation here was booked months in advance yet they failed let our travel agent know they were undergoing major renovations to transform from a hostel to a more boutique hotel. We did not get the facilities we booked and paid for. The communal kitchen was no longer operating or the communal lounge.As we arrived carpet was being lifted at the front entrance and there was a plumbing leak somewhere. We were lucky to be on the third floor as the smell of sewerage was permanent on the bottom floors, you had to cover your nose each time you used the stairs between floors.Other people staying their were all commenting on the smell as well. Our room was clean. Breakfast consisted of picking up a brown paper bag from reception that contained a muffin, a juice and a piece of fruit. The fruit looked like they recycle the fruit others don’t eat as the apple was soft and marked and the muffin....it was covered in mould. We showed reception and they were apologetic. We would have liked a partial refund of some sort as we certainly didn’t get the facilities we booked.
